Description: The Sam M. Walton College of Business invites applications for a 9-month renewable non-tenure track faculty position. The Clinical Assistant Professor is expected to teach two sections of two different courses each semester (a 4/4 teaching load) to begin Fall Semester 2018, with a mix of face-to-face and online courses, as needed. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience; benefits are competitive.
Required Qualifications: Candidates are expected to hold a doctoral degree or terminal degree from a closely related field in order to maintain AACSB faculty qualification requirements. Strong teaching skills and ability to make intellectual contributions to practice is expected, including an ability to publish in peer-reviewed accounting or related field journals.
Preferred Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include experience and/or an interest in both face-to-face and online course delivery; experience and willingness to work with student organizations or programs; ability to teach large course formats; and strong teaching as evidenced by competitive teaching awards. All teaching areas will be considered, but greatest needs are in managerial accounting.
