The Security Engineer will reduce risk to the organization through the execution of IT Security controls. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate directly with different areas of IT and the business. Delivering excellent customer service. Participate on a team to provide solutions for the bank. Analyze and respond to network or system alerts relating to security and operations (anti-virus, network IDS, event logs, system availability, etc). Perform forensics including disk imaging and timeline analysis. Firewall management and control maintenance. Scripting and automation of security processes using PowerShell required. Adhere to established policies, standards and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the bank systems and data. Review threat intelligence feeds, operationalize IOCs and implement countermeasures. Endpoint security management. SFTP server and certificate authority management. Provide on-call support. Test fixes to ensure problems have been adequately resolved. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Certifications related to Information Security are highly preferred (CISSP, SANS GSEC, etc.) 3-5 years of security or technology experience. 6-8 years of experience necessary without a degree. Threat Intelligence, Incident Response or Vulnerability Management experience is preferred. Knowledge or experience in Agile/Scrum work methodologies SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:MS Office product (notably Outlook, Word and Excel) Requires advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux platforms. PowerShell or other scripting languages. Firewall and IDS administration. Incident response and forensics tools. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND BEHAVIORS REQUIRED: Must have good communication (verbal, written, and listening) skills. Advanced knowledge of IT security controls. Advanced knowledge of intrusion analysis and incident response. Will require the ability to be a self-starter and to work independently as well as in a team setting.
