The Information Technology Operations Manager is responsible for the direct daily management of IT operational teams, including infrastructure, network, and security operations. This position will be responsible to meet the needs of end users and provide sustainable technology solutions. This individual will be accountable for formulating policies, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines. The IT Operations manager will apply strong communication skills, team building, conflict management, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices to motivate and provide technical mentorship to team members and to establish themselves as a trusted advisor to stakeholders. Responsibilities: Team Leadership Demonstrates leadership and professionalism both internally and externally Ensures staffing levels are appropriate to provide service and meet deadlines Develop teams through coaching, feedback and performance management skills Effectively coach and manage the individual performance of team members Establish and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders and customers Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems Promote a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, quality and accountability Actively participates in meetings and champions corporate decisions A willingness to lead, take charge, and offer opinions and direction Partner with Human Resources to recruit and select staff with the talent to meet current and future needs Strategy and Planning Contribute to and maintain awareness of the Bank's strategic technology and business plans Develop and recommend goals, long-range objectives and action plans that support the Bank's strategic technology plans Negotiate with business partners to set project priorities and resource allocation Ensure effective control of results and take corrective action to achieve technology objectives within designated budgets Participate in the strategy, planning and governance of IT Operations Remain current with developments in the technology field and evaluates the feasibility of incorporating newest solutions into IT workflows, processes and procedures. Operations and Support Cultivate, disseminate, and enforce policies, standards and procedures Manage day-to-day operations to ensure both new and current IT initiatives are completed within agreed upon timeframes Analyze and solve problems and make effective decisions and/or involve others in the decision-making process as needed Communicate with stakeholders to ensure understanding of deliverables and negotiate expectations Oversee vendors and contracts needed to support the team Remain flexible to business needs and changes. Manage multiple priorities while anticipating possible impacts and benefits of change Respond to requests for information during assessments, audits and exams Position Requirements: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of eight years experience in Information Technology and demonstrated accomplishments in operational processing/workflow, product development and planning.
