HR Business Partner The Human Resources Business Partner will work collaboratively with our business leaders to develop and implement their people strategies. The HR BP will have the opportunity to be a strategic business partner to Business Unit Leaders, partnering to grow, develop and retain their talent. This is done by working with business leadership to develop people priorities and align HR practices, processes and tools used by leadership & employees. RESPONSIBILITIES Development and Implementation of the HR agenda with designated client groups Works closely with HR peers and business teams to implement a people strategy and priorities that directly supports the business priorities Coaches and develops managers to be more effective leaders within the organization Partners with the business to develop and implement appropriate staffing and sourcing strategies to identify qualified, diverse and talented candidates for open positions Leads talent management and succession planning process for assigned client groups and provides counsel to leaders on talent strategies that ensure we have a competitive workforce now and into the future Ensures fairness, diversity and inclusion in all practices Works with leaders to drive organizational performance and promote valued behaviors Develops, communicates and implements pro-active employee relations strategies Partner with internal resources to execute bank wide HR initiatives and client specific programs Investigates and resolves employee relations issues and complaints, including investigations Executes employee engagement initiatives within their client group and across the Bank Partners with L&D Manager to identify learning and development solutions, focusing on enabling key capabilities Works collaboratively with HR peers to implement performance management and compensation strategies for the business that supports strategy and incents the right behaviors Assures adherence to legal and regulatory compliance Knowledgeable of employee benefits programs Other duties as assigned REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION 5-7 years HR business partner experience is preferred; ideally working with a financial services company BA degree or equivalent required in Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or other; Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Human Resources related field preferred Demonstrated increasing HR generalist responsibility Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions, evaluate people, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment Effective interfacing and collaborating with business leaders as well as employees Demonstrated experience and competence in the various HR functional areas: Talent Acquisition, Rewards & Compensation; Employee Relations; Leadership Coaching, Learning and / or Organizational Development Experience in building highly effective organizations and teams, processes and infrastructure preferred Prior experience in an Organizational Change Management capacity strongly preferred Must have outstanding interpersonal, influence and communication skills, both verbal and written Prior experience leading HR projects/programs and process improvement initiatives Working knowledge of federal and state HR related regulations and compliance procedures PREFERRED CHARACTERISTICS Solid leader, leading by example and behaves with the highest integrity Team builder that fosters collaborative relationships, and operates from a mindset of inclusion Builder of solutions that benefit the broader company Drives excellence in everything Fosters innovation and creativity Creates a culture of learning, provides development through training, and mentoring Proven experience in attracting, developing and engaging talent Strong customer service skills Candid speaker, inspires others Makes meaningful commitments and meets them Encourages diversity of thought and perspective Breadth of business acumen skills Excellent planning, executi
