Perform engagement management responsibilities: performance reviews, task delegation, project scheduling, project financials, and quality review and client management
Experience conducting CFO Act Audits, A-136 and OMB A-123 internal control assessments, etc.
Plan audit engagement and prepare audit work papers
Knowledge of principles and practices of internal audit, including risk based auditing
Possess solid technical GAAP accounting and research skills
Draft audit finding and recommendations and possess solid technical GAAP accounting and research skills. Conduct substantive testing of various transactions in accordance with GAO Federal Financial Audit Manual and year end closing package for federal entities.
Translate company policies into practical day-to-day financial and operational practices, task delegation, project scheduling, and project financials, etc.
Maintain steady contact with clients throughout the business year, which involves a thorough knowledge of the client and all facets of the client's business rather than mere routine attendance to immediate problems
Review staff assignments, making certain they are appropriate and keep the principal informed of all important developments in the work, analyzes the major problems that occur and recommends solutions. .
