The I nformation Technology Change Process Manager is responsible for establishing, operating, and enhancing a consistent IT change management approach that minimizes overall risk to the IT environment while ensuring each change is approved by appropriate stakeholders and documented in a detailed and consistent manner. This role is also responsible for enhancing standards related to IT releases (both hardware and software) that ensures each IT release utilizes similar approaches .and is documented in a detailed and consistent manger. Finally, it is expected that this role will chair the Change Advisory Board (CAB).
Apply structured Change Management methodology, create a Change Management Plan and lead Change Management activities:
Apply a change management process and tools to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
Assess the change impact: Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness
Support communication efforts: Facilitate the creation of a communication plan, support the design, development, delivery and management of communications.
Support training efforts: Facilitate the creation of a training plan, provide input, document requirements and support the design an delivery of training programs.
Complete change management assessments
Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics
Consult and coach project teams
Support and engage senior leaders
Integrate change management activities into a project plan
Evaluate and ensure user readiness
Track and report issues
Define and measure success metrics and monitor change process.
Demonstrates leadership and professionalism both internally and externally
Establish and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders and customers
Promote a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, quality and accountability
Actively participates in meetings and champions corporate decisions
Remain flexible to business needs and changes
Manage multiple priorities while anticipating possible impacts and benefits of change
Respond to requests for information during assessments, audits and exams
5-6 years of experience in Change Management
Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Behaviors:
Ability to be a self-starter and able to operate in a proactive way independently
Excellent oral and written communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience with Agile methods and concepts
Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of project lifecycle
Customer service experience
Critical thinking - using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
