The Global Compensation Manager will report to the Senior Director, Global HR Processes and be responsible for designing and implementing compensation programs that support the strategic and operational goals of the business. The Global Compensation Manager works on complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
Directly manages the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs including job evaluation, salary structure development and administration, pay area/compression differentials, and recognition programs.
Responsible for broad-based incentives and sales incentive programs, including design, implementation, administration, ongoing evaluation of effectiveness and recommendations for improvements.
Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of compensation programs and processes and makes recommendations for improvements.
Conducts position market pricing and analysis. Recommends changes to positions to ensure the maintenance of the organization's compensation objectives and competitiveness in the marketplace. Participates in salary surveys.
Coordinates global merit/cost-of-living budgeting process. Conducts budget modeling and impact analysis for merit/cost-of-living compared to performance distribution, and salary structure movement., etc.
Coordinates global annual incentive plan communications, administration, and calculations. Provides final global annual incentive plan payment amounts to each region for payments. Ensures global and regional incentive plan data is maintained in the global HRIS system.
Assists with long term incentive (LTI) communication preparation, administration, and calculations. Provides final LTI payment amounts to each region for payments.
Partners with HRIS to ensure continuous improvement of process and technology in support of compensation programs.
Partners with and provide a consultative approach to HR Business Partners and relevant clients to develop and execute local compensation solutions to meet needs of daily operations and unique business situations.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of total rewards, including legislative updates and trends and provide thought leadership to the wider HR team and business.
Oversees the participation in salary surveys and analysis of results. Recommends changes to ensure the maintenance of the organization's compensation objectives and competitive position in the marketplace.
Required Experience and Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field is required. Master’s degree preferred. CCP strongly desired.
At least 5 to 7 years Compensation experience
Demonstrated proficiency in HRIS systems
Advanced Excel skills required, proficient with other MS Office programs
Strong Analytical skills
Advanced knowledge of compensation design, application and theory
Demonstrated skills in conceptual and analytical thinking, driving results, creative problem solving, consulting and collaboration within all levels of the organization
Strong project management skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills
Ability to communicate with and influence all levels of management within various countries/cultures
