Reporting to the Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller, this position will lead financial reporting and financial management of the Marine Services operating group and North American Aggregates (NAA), our newest subsidiary and will be an integral part of the management team.
Essential Job Functions
Provides timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts Establish and maintains a relationships and advises senior leaders and executives Provides leadership in the development of processes to support division Leads in the development of policies and procedures for North American Aggregates including, but not limited to customer review and approval, collections, inventory costing and tracking, production monitoring and financial reporting Drives the capital expenditure processes for the division Works with division management on the periodic analysis of internal equipment rate development based upon planned utilization, operating and maintenance costs Supports and drives IT initiatives as required Maximizes synergies with Weeks Marine, Inc. and at the same time balancing this with the unique requirements of NAA Directs the NAA office manager and other division administrative support staff Financial statement review for Marine Services and NAA Assistance with monthly financial statement consolidation as needed Supports external auditors when required Follows company and work site safety policies/procedures and commits to an “Incident and Injury Free” work environment
5+ years experience, construction aggregates or related experience preferred BS in Accounting or Finance or equivalent, MBA and/or CPA required Ability to work a 40 hour work week M-F, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., additional hours as needed This position requires fluent use of the verbal and written English language
