Synopsys continues to experience rapid growth and is looking for a Senior Auditor to join its Internal Audit Department (IAD). As part of IAD you will get an opportunity to work across a variety of projects, such as operational, technology, regulatory compliance, and financial related audits. You will also partner closely with our IAD Data Analytics group, which helps design and execute various analysis that inform and guide our audit work.

What you will be doing:
Learn on the job about Synopsys' diverse business (e.g. software, hardware, software security).
Plan and execute audits across a variety of topics and processes.
Work closely with IAD Data Analytics team to develop models to be used in audits.
Assess control systems in accordance with SOX, US GAAP, and internal control frameworks.
Partner with business management to address issues and/or share process improvement opportunities.
Support efforts to promote awareness of internal control and risk management better practices.
May involve some international travel (less than 10%).
Preferred Experience/Skills Requirements:
BS/BA or Master’s degree with a focus in Accounting, Finance, Data Science, or related field.
4+ years of work experience, with at least 1 year as an acting Senior staff in a corporate audit function or in a Big 4 or Mid-Tier accounting firm, preferably focused on Internal Audit services.
Ability to independently develop the scope and recommended procedures for operational audits, applying professional judgment rather than simply following materiality thresholds.
Experience with data analytics tools (e.g. Tableau, Qlik, Lumira, etc.) a plus, but not required.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, or other relevant certification preferred.
