JOB SUMMARY: The Department of Accounting invites applications for a full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty appointments (at assistant, associate or full professor) commencing September 1, 2019 to teach at both the New Jersey City University (NJCU) School of Business in Jersey City and Monmouth County, New Jersey campuses.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful applicant will be required to teach both basic and advanced courses at the undergraduate and graduate level, will be expected to develop new programs and course offerings for the accounting department, and maintain scholarly engagement in their respective field.
EDUCATION: Candidates should have an earned doctorate in Accounting or a related field, or provide evidence it will be fully completed within one year of the 2019-2020 academic year. In very extraordinary cases, as determined by the University, the requirement of a doctorate or terminal degree may not be necessary.
EXPERIENCE: Candidates should have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, research and service.
