John Tyler Community College is seeking a Financial Services Specialist to assist the Associate Vice President of Financial Services department. This position assists in managing the day-to-day activities in the office and to ensure the fiscal responsibility and accountability over the use of restricted and budgeted college funds. In accordance with the Commonwealth of Virginia, VCCS, JTCC, and ARMICS policies and procedures, manage funds as required in the VCCS Administrative Information System (AIS) financial implementation processes and sub-systems. Manages the reporting, monitoring, and reconciling restricted and grant funding in coordination with internal and external agencies. Also provide support by reconciling financial aid awards, local banking services, and college budget reporting.
