Prepare and review financial information for the departments served by Auxiliary Business Services. May work around standard office conditions. Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.
Reconciliations – (1) monthly statement of accounts to ensure charges are valid and posted to appropriate cost center; (2) encumbrance balances – ensure accuracy and sufficient funding remains and (3) monthly check and credit card logs – all items received have been logged. Follow-up and resolve any discrepancies. Requisitions – Create requisitions in UT Share based on quotes provided by department. Assign cost center and account number. IDTs – process Internal Department Transfers. Review for appropriateness and documentation, assign cost centers, account codes and enter in UT Share. Pro-Cards – Reconcile and code pro-card logs. Review logs and documentation to ensure compliance. Assign cost centers and account numbers. Enter coding into UT Share. Utilities – Maintain utility spreadsheet. Enter monthly utility expense for various Auxiliary managed properties. Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or the equivalent work experience. Experience with office machines, personal computer, and software applications.
Accounting degree and experience to include preparing detailed reconciliations and using PeopleSoft and MS Excel. Detailed oriented and excellent organizational and customer service skills.
