We are seeking an Assistant Accountant responsible for our SG entity's cash management, financial, regulatory and management reporting.
Financial and Management Reporting:
Responsible for accounts payable and fixed assets
Assist in the month end closing of the financial and management books
Prepare daily reporting to Head Office
Prepare monthly reconciliation for broker rebates
Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules
Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc regulatory reporting to SGX/ MAS
Assist in the preparation of annual tax schedules
Arrange soft dollar and vendor invoices payment processing
Staff expenses' claims processing
Monitor daily bank balances
Prepare daily bank reconciliation for settlement bank accounts
Prepare daily bank schedule
Prepare daily cash projection report and execute swap funding with banks if applicable
Prepare monthly cashflow report to Head Office
Provide FX quotes to operations upon clients' requests
Key Experience & Skills
Diploma or university degree with major in either finance or accounting.
Minimum of 1 to 2 years working experience
Good technical knowledge of local accounting standards
Committed, self motivated and able to meet deadlines
Good communication skills—strong fluency in English is required.
High regard for attention to detail, accuracy and quality.
