A growing Lloyd's underwriting business is currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to fill a newly created position.
Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting the successful applicant will ensure financial reporting to Lloyd's is delivered on time and in an effective control environment. In addition, you will support team members with work relating to IFRS 17 standards and support with technical issues and/or IFRS group deliveries as well as actively contribute to the wider finance transformation program. This role will operate with minimal guidance and the holder is expected to address issues, draft solutions, agree with supervisor and implement them.
This role also has a career path to it with succession planning in mind so applicants must have a desire to progress within their career and a willingness to take on more senior / managerial roles in the future.
Applicants must be qualified accountants with a strong Lloyd's reporting background, demonstrate detailed knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS, have experience in end-to-end finance processes such as Finance operations, Planning, Forecasting, Financial close, intercompany process and Reporting, have experience of managing and/or leading a range of accounting projects and possess strong relationship management skills to influence stakeholders and senior management.
