In this role, your responsibilities will include:
Manage a portfolio (A-Z) of German clients, including the bookkeeping, preparing and reviewing financial reports and completing the annual accounts using Lux GAAP
Own all accounting matters connected to the portfolio, overseeing financial transactions and producing all necessary reporting
Develop a strong and trusting relationship with your clients (within real estate, commercial and financial sectors)
Prepare legal documents, tax and VAT returns
Resolve clients queries related to the portfolio, and liaise with 3rd parties (auditors, notaries, banks, tax and legal specialists)
Proactively work with colleagues on accounting projects related to the team
To be successful in this role you will require:
University degree in Accounting/Finance
2-5 years' Accounting experience across Alternative investment structures (including Real Estate/Private Equity/Securitization)
Have a good understanding of Lux GAAP and local tax regulations and requirements
Fluent in both English and German written and verbal, with a knowledge of French would be advantageous
Experience with BOB 50 software would be a strong plus
High degree of professionalism, must be a team player and highly collaborative
Strong analytical and communication skills
Be flexible and want to learn
