Performs all general accounting and accounts payable functions.
Maintains the general ledger and sub-ledgers, including fixed assets.
Support timely monthly and year-end financial close, completing all assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of all general ledger accounts.
Performs general ledger account reconciliations to enable accurate reporting and identify, report and correct errors.
Coordinates with accounting software vendor to maintain accounting software systems; recommends updates to enhance the accounting software.
Continue ongoing education by participating in webinars and workshops
Maintain and update records and reports for profit and loss, taxes, liabilities, and assets
Prepare special financial reports as requested by management.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
At least three years of related experience required.
Knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles in the U.S.) a plus
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently.
Ability and willingness to keep maintain confidentiality.
Desire to continue to grow through continuing training.
