The Role Responsibilities
Supports the daily operation of the Group Pte Bank finance team and manages the Singapore Trust Accountant
Group Pte Bank Business Finance
Manage the delivery of monthly Private Banking Financials reporting; including collaboration with Country and Group business finance teams to provide quality management information to senior management
Drive financials analysis including trend analysis, risks and opportunities identification, products margins and volumes driver-based reporting etc to assist business in profits optimization.
Manage the forecasting and corporate plan / budgeting process including preparation, validation and consolidation of submissions from regions.
Active participation in business reviews / challenge to ensure alignment of regional submissions with global target.
Support regional business reviews, monthly business reviews
Assist in preparation of the Half year and full year reviews with Group CFO
Support the delivery of regular and ad-hoc management reporting requirements from Group finance in London and local Manco / business.
Use competitive intelligence, industry and macroeconomic indicators to facilitate stakeholders decision-making
Manage the Transfer Pricing mechanism and cross-border allocations for the Private Bank business.
Group Pte Bank Business Analytics
Manage the delivery of sales and business analytics; including Net New Money reporting, Client Segmentation, Weekly income and AUM trackers etc to business stakeholders for performance evaluation
Drive business analytics initiatives to assist business in profits optimization. Provide value-add analytics for business including key performance indicators to improve overall business performance
Support individual RM targets setting process including consolidation and alignment with total Global targets and RM performance analysis
Support business deep dives in market view financials
Support forecasting and tracking of RM productivity metrics.
Singapore Trust Finance
Oversee the finance support on the Singapore Trust company covering
accounts maintenance including processing of payments to vendors and intercompany recharge
financial control, management reporting, liquidity position monitoring and reporting
liaison with internal and external auditors on audit matters
support business in all MAS discussions / matters where applicable
support business in completion of internal / external audits and MAS inspections
costs and revenue booking work-streams and performance reporting
forecasting and corporate plan / budgeting for the Singapore Trust business
Representation in Trust Manco
Support the management, planning and control functions for Group Finance division
Participate in Group Private Bank finance projects and other business where required.
CFO Private Bank/Wealth Management
Private Bank (including Singapore Trust) Business Stakeholders
Private Bank Regional Business Finance
Our Ideal Candidate
At least 10 years relevant experience in financial planning and analysis gained in leading financial services sector (preferably banking) with staff management experiences
Excellent communication skills, written and presentation
Proven problem solver using quantitative techniques; strong analytical skills with ability to develop proof of concept frameworks and business cases
Team player and ability to work well within a matrixed environment
Degree in finance, economics or science; MBA or other graduate degree preferred
