To ensure that the administrative functions of the loan portfolio are performed, including independent credit analysis, workflow management, and report preparation.
Provides supervision to the Credit Analysts and Credit Administration Officers.
Manages workflow of commercial loan analysis requests and assists Credit Analysts and Credit Administration Officers with preparation of analysis.
Develops a working knowledge on all aspects of loan policy.
Prepares reports for Management and the Board as assigned.
Works with the Commercial Loan Portfolio Risk Officer to prepare reports for concentration risk management.
Prepares written commercial loan analysis in consultation with the Loan Officers.
Utilizes an optical Loan Documentation system to file, store, and manage information of all types.
Works with the Loan Officer to ensure required financial information from customers is processed in an accurate, timely, and consistent manner and monitors compliance with required loan covenants to ensure financial risk is managed appropriately.
Applies established procedures for disbursing loan proceeds over the life of construction and development loans, including on-site property inspections. Ensures that equity injections are tracked and received.
Maintains the Bankâ€™s established customer service standards.
Promotes a positive bank image through community involvement.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree with a major or minor in Accounting required.
Three or more years of commercial credit background including examiner, loan auditor, or credit analyst required.
Thorough understanding of commercial and real estate loan underwriting.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Foundation in accounting principles as they relate to banking.
Ability to analyze and interpret financial statements.
Analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Advanced computer literacy with knowledge of computer software (i.e. Microsoft Windows Operating System and Office applications).

Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills.

Strong reading, writing, and basic mathematical skills.
