Penn Interactive is building a Treasury Department to manage its rapidly growing cash and bank account needs as we expand into new markets. The Sr. Manager, Treasury will be the first team member and will have the opportunity to establish a Treasury Department and build a team within Penn Interactive to support the growth of Barstool Sportsbook and online casino operations. PI plans to launch in every market where online sports betting and casino is legal. This role will be challenging and fun for anyone looking to build and lead a Treasury Department within a growth-focused company.
Role and Responsibilities:
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
Responsible for supervising staff and the overall daily management of the Treasury team. Supports, administers and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
Ensures that scheduling is done in an effective and efficient manner, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving deadlines.
Responsible for preparing, monitoring and adhering to budgets and ensuring compliance to departmental budget initiatives. Reports budget concerns / deviations to the leadership team
Builds the standard operating procedures of a successful Treasury Department, including daily monitoring of cash activity and balances.
Oversees all aspects of Treasury for PI
Primary PI representative PI in all meetings, calls, and events for Treasury related matters.
Builds the strategy and growth plan for the Treasury Department and partners with internal stakeholders to ensure success
Serves as the primary liaison between Penn Interactive and Corporate Treasury teams
Primarily responsible for creating and maintaining bank accounts for each state into which the company enters for real money gaming operations to support business growth into new markets
Develops presentations for budget meetings and operational reviews.
Presents and discusses analyses with high level executives from corporate and from the property.
Monitors daily cash deposit and withdrawal activity from all online payment service providers
Ensures sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational requirements
Develops treasury activities to support month-end close and budgeting processes with the Accounting and Finance teams.
Partners with the Corporate Treasury teams provides regular reporting and forecast upcoming cash needs
Builds and maintains professional relationships with partner financial institutions and online payment service providers
Administer user access for all banking platforms and perform periodic audits to ensure user access is appropriate
Develop and implement periodic cash forecasting models
Responsible for the overall management of the pCard and out-of-pocket expense reimbursement program for Penn Interactive
Develops strategy and maintains a system of policies, procedures and controls over treasury activities
Identify and build a talented team to grow with the business
Enhances operational efficiency while minimizing risk

Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Accounting, Finance or Economics from accredited four-year college or university; ten years of demonstrated experience in a treasury or relevant financial management role with experience building new processes and procedures; or equivalent combination of education and experience. SEC reporting experience required. CPA preferred.
Must have technical proficiency and knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Ability to perform financial analysis, including review of external financial statements, analysis of key business metrics, development of pro forma P&L, analysis of key business metrics, and ROI analysis. Must have strong analytical orientation.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and balance multiple projects and processes simultaneously.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Must have the ability to interact with colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Experience in the online gaming industry highly preferred.
Ability to interpret a variety of laws and regulations.
Experience leading a team.
Must possess a high level of organizational skills.
Must be detail oriented.
Must be able to develop and maintain cordial and professional relationships with all levels of the business and external partners.
