Perform accounting and financial duties to support the Finance Office. This position requires independent judgment, discretion, and extensive use of accounting knowledge to accomplish goals.Â This person will prepare various accounting and financial reports as required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform bank reconciliations on a monthly basis.
Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
Perform journal uploads from Excel to Workday.
Prepare and post journal entries.
Provide audit support as needed.
Recording of auxiliary revenue on a monthly basis.
Run queries on an as needed basis.
Review and approval of invoices, expense reports, credit card reports, and student refund requests.
Serve as the backup for A/P Specialist by entering invoices, assisting with check runs
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :Â
Knowledge of:Â Accounting and bookkeepingÂ

Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance
Demonstrated years of experience
Experience in Higher Education or Workday is optimal, but not required
