Responsibilities: - Responsible for delivery of all financial reporting for the Group including interim and annual financial statements - Responsible for managing the annual financial reporting process for all subsidiaries including all related board reporting - Managing the end to end half year and annual external audit process ensuring goals are aligned and issues resolved promptly - Setting the direction and standards for financial reporting across the Group - Overseeing the analytical review process for regulatory reporting and managing any issue resolution as required by the regulator - Acting as primary contact for the regulator and co-ordinating responses across the bank Prerequisites for role: - At least 8 years post-qualified experience within the financial services industry with strong subsidiary, funds and regulatory reporting as well as disclosure statement preparation - Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards as well as the local New Zealand OIC - At least 5 years experience in a managerial role within the financial services industry with the ability to focus on talent identification - Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent - Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance |
