A Global Insurer has instructed Badenoch + Clark on a newly-created position that would be best suited to a newly-qualified professional (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). Reporting to the Finance Manager as well as working closely with the Financial Controller and acting local CFO, this will be a great opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their skill-set, you will be responsible for:
- Owning the expense function for 3 holding companies - Manage liquidity of UK statutory accounts - Delivering accounting, planning, and budgeting processes. - Produce financial reports - Business Partnering with the wider finance team to redesign process change. - Act as financial adviser to the senior management team on business performance.
The business is looking for someone who is self-motivated and is hands-on with the tasks at hand. There will be ample opportunity for you to undertake further duties within the finance function to develop commercially within the business. The goal for this individual would be to re-engineer and re-deliver new processes to ensure optimum business performance.
