CompleteRx is currently seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team in Houston, TX!  As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical accounting guidance and analytical support while ensuring compliance with GAAP.  You will also be responsible for leading and developing a dedicated accounting team.

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Accounting Manager will plan, direct and manage all aspects of fiscal management to include: accounting and financial reporting, purchasing, fixed assets, risk management, accounts receivable,  and auxiliary services. In the absence of the Chief Financial Officer, this person would be the go-to-person for Business Office/finance related questions.

What You Will Do

• Manage accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting, A/R and A/P
• Contribute financial information to strategic planning process
• Prepare and lead the annual budget process
• Establish internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation
• Support annual audit by providing information to auditors
• Provide financial analysis to Executive Leadership Team with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
• Manage and approve month end close
• Manage annual commercial insurance renewal process
• Prepare periodic financial reports, including Profit and Loss Statement, Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flows, as well as the year-end financial reports for internal and external parties
