As our Workday Practice Staffing Senior, you will be responsible for leading the effort with skills and resume collateral, maintaining accurate staffing records, facilitating/leading calls and liaising with both consultants and Leadership on staffing issues. The ideal candidate should be extremely personable, possess strong organizational skills, be able to think creatively (outside the box) and problem solve in a timely manner. Responsibilities: Staffing - Review, analyze, and report on consultant availability using CrossCountry's staffing tool to effectively manage our staffing pipeline for all Workday Consultants
- Plan and organize teams for net-new project staffing
- Respond quickly to ad-hoc/urgent staffing requests
- Facilitate calls and communicate with Leadership and consultants across service lines regarding availability, open staffing needs, special requests, and pipeline opportunities
- Manage the operational aspects of follow-up tasks and activities from staffing meetings
- Prioritize needs of staffing and training based on Leadership's expectations and communicating appropriately with those affected
- Manage expectations of project timelines and level of effort from Leadership and Consultants
- Run and support weekly Staffing meetings with Delivery Leadership
- Run Weekly Reports from PSA and Time Reporting Systems; must be very comfortable pulling and analyzing data from different sources and manipulating data as needed
- Escalate staffing conflicts to Staffing/Delivery Leadership
Responsibilities: Business Development and Operational Support - Work with Workday Practice Sales and Delivery leadership to understand needs for staffing (e.g. timing, duration, level of effort, special requirements, etc.)
- Update Resume Formats/Pull Resumes for sales pitches and opportunities
- Respond to ad-hoc requests from Sales and Delivery regarding specific skillsets/experiences of the consultant base
- Coordinate ad-hoc consultant support of sales calls and RFP responses
Responsibilities: People and Capacity Management - Conduct regular check-ins with consultants across all markets to ensure alignment with skills and interests
- Work closely with Talent Acquisition, Operations, and Sales/Delivery Teams to understand new hire skillsets, communicate capacity gaps, understand training needs, and understand sales pipeline demand.
- Manage updates and tracking of consultant skillsets in PSA system and resume updates on an ongoing basis.
- Register and coordinate certification training for new hires as well as existing staff
- Manage consultants on the bench with training, internal initiatives, and special projects.
- Manage subcontractor process for Workday Practice (e.g. send requests, coordinate interviews, draft SOW's, initiate subcontractor onboarding, etc.)
Requirements - 3-5+ years of experience, ideally in a professional services landscape
- Workday experience in an operations or consulting role preferred
- Experience working at a professional services firms in an operations or consulting role preferred
- Experience with staffing tools or PSA systems
- Proven communication skills and client service skills
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Open and honest communicator with excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- High energy, enthusiasm, flexibility, and a great sense of humor
Education - A bachelor's degree (or higher)
