CrossCountry Consulting is seeking a Delivery Director to help drive the rapid growth and success of our Workday Practice. In this role, you will work closely with existing Leadership to provide technology strategy, implementation and support services to both large multi-billion-dollar enterprises and emerging growth companies. Our expertise is in cloud or software-as-a-service (SaaS) technologies that support the back-office functions - Finance, Accounting, FP&A, and HR. As a Delivery Director on our team, you will help our clients navigate the selection, transformation, implementation, and configuration of Workday. Primary Objectives: - Client Delivery: Lead the development and delivery of services in the following areas:
- Support our clients and consultants as an Executive Sponsor, providing oversight to teams as they implement our solutions including requirements, design, build, report development, conversion, change management, testing and cutover activities
- Confidently and credibly propose solutions to problems and improvements to clients' existing processes/plans
- Work with team members and clients to achieve agreed upon timelines, set deliverable structure and content while producing "client-ready" deliverables
- Lead and provide oversight for a portfolio of projects in a specific region or vertical
- Manage multiple complex projects within scope, timeline and budget
- Business Development:
- Work closely with our existing Workday Delivery Directors to develop Go-To-Market strategies
- Lead marketing efforts such as creating thought leadership, attending conferences, events and networking
- Lead business development efforts by coordinating with clients, understanding their needs, determining how our services meet the needs, and crafting proposals and statements of work
- Provide ongoing sales support by providing recommendations to sales decks and other business development templates (SOWs, etc.)
- Practice Leadership:
- Understand key industry/technical developments and trends and articulate how clients will be affected
- Participate in annual planning sessions to set strategic goals and monitor results throughout the year
- Manage client accounts, projects, and engagements, including work plans, staffing, deadlines, and budgets throughout all lifecycle phases, to include strategy, goal setting, deliverables, and maintain an integrated project plan
- Develop and manage client relationships by understanding their business, listening to their needs, and ensuring responsive service and exceptional quality
- Manage teams and individuals by tracking and directing performance against objectives, create an atmosphere of trust and collaboration, model leadership behaviors and encourage continuous improvement and innovation
- Develop timely resolutions to issues, risks, and project team conflicts
- Generate new and add-on business opportunities, develop delivery methodologies and new service offerings
- Coach and develop team members by creating an open environment of trust and collaboration in line with our core values
- Be willing to do and not just lead or manage
Qualifications: - 15+ years of consulting and/or industry experience with 8-9 years of consulting experience with Big Four or equivalent organizations (Ernst & Young, Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, IBM, Accenture, Oracle). This background is a critical differentiator among interested candidates
- "Techno-functional" blend of training/experience with knowledge of at least one Financial/ERP System ((i.e. Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP, Sage Intacct, etc.)
- Business acumen with a strong understanding of accounting and business processes as well as information systems
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to foster an environment of collaboration and excellence
- Consistent success in building and developing strong client relationships
- Ability to work with client management and stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes
- Mentorship and people development capabilities
- Proven business development proficiency, with strong networking skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills including comfort with executive audiences
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to think from a "big picture"perspective

Certifications Desired: - Workday (or similar Accounting/Finance/ERP/Procurement system), PMP, CPA, LSS
Education: - A bachelor's degree (or higher) in management information systems, accounting information systems, business, accounting, finance, economics, engineering, systems, or other technical discipline
