Summary
Month end close, accounting department management, annual budget and balance sheet reconciliation.
Ability to hire, fire and discipline staff.
Responsibilities
- Manages the accounting department staff and ensures month end close process is completed timely.
- Prepares the annual budget with guidance from the CFO and Region/Market.
- Ensures the entire balance sheet is reconciled timely.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Education
Required: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience
Required: Five (5) years healthcare accounting experience to include two years supervisory experience.
Certifications
Preferred: Certified Public Accountant.
