The Senior Accountant is responsible for a variety of accounting and financial reporting activities within the Finance Office. The Senior Accountant serves as the primary responsible person for all related fixed asset and debt accounting in addition to performing several other general ledger accounting activities such as the monthly reconciliation of Account Payable bank account statements, abandoned property administrations and other projects as needed. Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant also interacts closely with the Assistant Controller, Associate Vice President for Finance and the University Budget Manager and must work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
