The Accounting team at LC is seeking an eager and intellectually curious individual to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for fully establishing financial controls, policies and procedures, and reporting systems while assuming responsibility for accounting functions for Lifestyle Construction and Development Services.
Make an impact through these primary responsibilities:
Directs monthly financial close process from journal entries through review/explanation of financial statements with the Director, Financial Operations.
Provides in-depth & succinct reporting on current results against all established benchmarks.
Manages accounting staff for all assigned assets, through coaching and guidance.
Maintains the chart of accounts and an orderly accounting system along with a system of controls over accounting transactions.
Designs and modifies accounting policy where necessary in consultation with the Director, Financial Operations.
Works with Operational management to develop any analysis needed to support journal entries.
Works with FP&A staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly financial reports, including annual audited financial statements.
Understands LCS & LDS financial responsibilities, while ensuring all banking responsibilities are satisfied and all related bank accounts are funded for all liabilities incurred on a weekly basis.
Monitors debt levels and compliance with debt covenants.
Ensures all general ledger account reconciliations are completed and are accurate on monthly basis.
Assists staff in developing annual budgets and directs completion (loading) of annual budget.
Monitors actual to budget performance and identifies and implements appropriate responses to budget variances.
Assists in any/all ad hoc analyses as assigned by the Director, Financial Operations.
Leverage the following experience in pursuit of our collective goals:
Experience in Construction Accounting preferred.
Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment is necessary.
Self-motivated and self-directed with excellent organizational skills.
Computer Skills: VISTA Software preferred, Microsoft Office & Google products are preferred.
Minimum 5 to 7 Years Accounting related work experience, CPA highly preferred.
