Job Summary 

Denny’s Analyst, Field Finance will support Field Finance by providing timely financial reporting, supporting the Operations Forecast, and performing analyses designed to improve the profitability of our Company and Franchise Restaurants. 

Essential Functions (Key Responsibilities) 

Prepare and ensure accuracy of weekly and monthly Ops metrics reporting and KPI tracking.  

Assist Manager of Field Finance with quarterly Forecasts and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), working with the broader organization to understand and forecast assumptions.  

Assist Manager of Field Finance in delivering monthly key variance reports to Operations and the greater Finance team.  

Assist in analyzing monthly P&L reports, providing insight into business results, performance trends, and areas of improvement. 

Manage analyses and create presentations which enable Finance leadership to clearly communicate business results to Company’s stakeholders. 

Support the Operations team with ad hoc analyses that improve profitability and/or efficiency. 

Assists with any other ad-hoc analysis as required to support key initiative and projects 

Other duties as assigned. 

Education and Experience Requirements 

Education: 

BA / BS in Business, Finance or Accounting  

Experience: 

1-3 years finance experience 

Required Knowledge and Skills 

Strong business partnering skills  

Strong attention to detail 

Ability to handle multiple competing priorities 

Effective communication and presentation skills 

Familiarity with Microsoft products (PowerPoint, Excel) 

Experience in multi-unit restaurant or retail environment preferred 

Willingness to learn and adapt in a changing environment
