How you’ll make a difference: We seek a proactive Accountant to help accurately and efficiently maintain our books and accounts. You must be organized, accurate, and meticulous while communicating effectively with others in a friendly environment. Additionally, you will have a direct impact on financial reporting and analysis, so you must be comfortable dealing with sensitive information and meeting deadlines. What you’ll do: As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining a complete and accurate general ledger including general ledger transactions, posting journal entries, reconciling daily activities, and the creation of ancillary reports. You will play a key role in month end close preparations through generating accruals, allocation reclassifications, and account reconciliations. To be effective, you will need to take full ownership over your responsibilities and be highly organized and detail-oriented. Accordingly, you must thrive in a transactional work environment, be comfortable maintaining a consistent routine, and enjoy checking items off both your short term “to-do” list each day, as well as managing ad hoc projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting reconciliations and analysis for both balance sheets and profit and loss statements. Your role will perform operational high-impact projects such as year-end audits and store profit and loss analysis. Finally, to work in our energetic team environment, you will need to possess strong communication skills and an ability to build ongoing relationships with team members across Custom Ink.
