What you’ll need

Strong candidates will have the ability to take initiative, solve problems, assess priorities and manage a variety of activities in a fast-paced environment.  Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent professional experience
• Three or more years in nonprofit accounting or grant financial management
• Advanced experience with Intacct or other accounting software
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
• Thorough understanding of GAAP and fund accounting
• Experience with federal grant-making rules and regulations a plus
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and prioritize workload
• Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Enthusiasm for environmental issues and advocacy
