Responsibilities As an assistant bank examiner, you help the OCC achieve its mission by ensuring that banks operate in a safe and sound manner, provide fair access to financial services, treat customers fairly, and comply with applicable laws and regulations. Salary and Benefits The OCC offers competitive salaries under a performance-based pay plan. The entry-level examiner starting salary is $54,000 per year.
