This role will oversee the group accounting and financial control function of the firm, including financial reporting, FP&A, tax, and corporate accounting, as well as interacting with banks, administrators and auditors. The firm focuses on private equity style impact investing but on a global scale, meaning every investment must generate a measurable, beneficial social or environmental impact alongside a financial return. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in a senior accounting role, within private equity, to take a step up to manage a corporate finance function and drive changes & improvements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibility for group accounting & financial control
Maintaining the systems and controls for MI
Financial reporting (management accounts, year-end, FCA review and LLP reporting)
Involvement in FP&A, supporting decisions with forecast and analysis, preparing & reviewing annual budget
Leading tax policy development and overseeing the reporting process
Oversee implementation of transfer pricing
Interaction with external parties such as banks, administrators, legal advisors and HMRC
YOUR PROFILE:
Private equity or similar experience in a corporate/financial accounting role
Experience and track record of improving finance functions & control
Transfer pricing experience a benefit
Comfortable in a small yet dynamic team and not afraid to be involved with the day to day
