Responsibilities - Interview clients, gather data, conduct internal and external research to create high-value analyses which highlight current systems and integrations, identify business requirements, and identify pain points and opportunities
- Provide insights into leading practices across finance and HR functions including relevant ways in which organizations are leveraging modern technology
- Build and communicate business cases with client leadership for investing in new technology
- Develop technology implementation strategies which detail key activities and milestones, timing, and resource needs for the deployment of new technology
- Possesses knowledge of key business processes (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Financial Close, Hire-to-Retire, Payroll, etc.)
- Reviews status, manage schedules, monitor progress, and prepares status reports
- Assesses and escalates project issues to leadership and suggests resolutions
Travel - Willingness to travel domestically up to 25%
Required Experience & Qualifications - 3+ years of relevant experience in finance or HCM processes, systems, and deployments, with a thorough understanding of accounting, finance, and HR functions
- Prior experience in professional services (public accounting or advisory firm), preferably at a large, global accounting firm or with a management consulting firm
- Prior system strategy, selection, and/or implementation experience of Financial or HCM applications (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Workday, ADP, Ceridian, Sage Intacct, Coupa, NetSuite, Great Plains, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
- Prior experience managing client and/or internal teams by guiding performance against objectives, creating an atmosphere of trust and collaboration, modeling leadership behaviors, and encouraging continuous improvement/innovation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills required
