The Director of Finance and Operations (DFO) of Saint Louis Counseling is an integral member of the agency leadership team. Reporting to, and partnering with the Executive Director, the DFO plays a critical role in developing, implementing and executing financial and operational policies and strategies. As a resource within the agency's leadership team the DFO evaluates and assists with financial strategies and provides recommendations to strengthen operation. The DFO is responsible for the oversight of Saint Louis Counseling and is a key liaison to the Saint Louis Counseling Board of Directors Finance Committee.
Demonstrates passion for the mission of Saint Louis Counseling. Has a minimum of a bachelor's degree; a CPA and/or MBA is preferred. A seasoned and mature professional who has worked in partnership with the president/executive directors/CEO of an organization. Prior senior management experience preferred. A team player with integrity and initiative. Accounting experience in a non-profit environment is preferred. Strong analytical skills to proactively determine trends and improvement opportunities. Skilled in handling and prioritizing multiple, varied responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
About Saint Louis Counseling
Established in 1955 by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Saint Louis Counseling is a non-profit, professional counseling agency that provides services within the Archdiocese of St. Louis. In May 2018, we changed our name from Catholic Family Services to Saint Louis Counseling to better encompass our professional counseling services that are provided to all people of all religions and backgrounds, while still maintaining our Catholic identity.
Saint Louis Counseling provides individual, group and family counseling to anyone regardless of age, race, religion, gender, nationality or marital status. Our therapists are all licensed by the Missouri Department of Professional Registration and confidentially treat a wide range of personal and relationship issues.
