Ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting to the MAS
Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Keep abreast of regulatory reporting changes and apply the changes to current reporting process
Work closely with other business units relating to MAS reporting matters
Maintain accounting schedules and GST returns
Prepare journal entries
Prepare any appropriate daily reconciliation process
Responsible for developing and updating of standard operating procedures
Assist in User Acceptance Test (UAT) for regulatory reporting project
Provide support in other areas of F&A function when required
Introduce process improvements that will derive time efficiency and value add to the business
Requirements:
Minimum a bachelor's degree in Finance/Accountancy
Minimum 3 - 5 years' relevant experience within the Banking industry
Strong knowledge of MAS notices and regulatory reporting requirements
Proficient in spoken and written English/Chinese to liaise with Chinese speaking headquarter counterparties
Chartered Accountant/Certified Public Accountant or ACCA holders will be a plus
Advance Microsoft excel skill and good proficiency in IT
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
