Job Summary:

Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. Performs all responsibilities in compliance with COA standards and state, federal, agency and all other applicable rules and regulations, and Wernle policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists the Chief Financial Officer in maintaining the financial records and producing financial
• Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions,
• Monitors daily cash balances on all accounts, initiates transfers to/from savings as
• Prepares general account, payroll, insurance and money market bank
• Reviews expense accounts for
• Assists in the end of month closing and preparation of financial statements, memos, general ledgers and
• Facilitates distribution of department/unit financial statements to supervisors and initiates budget
• Monitors budget results weekly/monthly.
• Prepares monthly school lunch claim and annual report and contract

• Monitors Accounts Receivable aging and correspondence as appropriate with delinquent
