Position Description: Antilles School is seeking a dynamic and talented individual to join a committed team of educators in a collaborative environment that places a high value on flexible thinking and problem-solving. Primary responsibilities include: • The invoicing & collections of tuition and other school-related revenues, which include, but are not limited to: After School Charges, Event & Facility Rentals, Campus Store Sales, Jackson Fitness Center Memberships, Fundraisers, and Donations. • Maintain the billing system; set up and bill all students’ tuition accounts per the families’ desired payment plans • Monitor students’ tuition accounts for delinquencies • Keep accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable files and records • Prepare bank deposits and record accordingly in QuickBooks and FACTS • Reconcile multiple balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis • Manage details of the Parent Revolving Endowment Fund (PREF); billing and collection, as well as processing refund requests. • Track Faculty Tuition Remission and ensure their payroll withholdings are applied timely and accurately • Coordinate the collection of necessary documents needed from families for Financial Aid; process grants and send to families, and assist those that appeal Financial Aid decisions • Assist Admissions Department with enrollment paperwork and deposits from returning and new families and tracking enrollment pace • Support the CFO with an external audit by preparing schedules and sample requests • Assist with special projects and supporting Business Office staff as required or assigned • Collaborate with colleagues in Admission to support enrollment management. • Perform other duties as assigned by the CFO
• Bachelor’s degree (minimum), preferably in Accounting • Must have at least 2 years of Accounts Receivable and General Ledger experience • Solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and strong financial analysis skills • Exemplary customer service and problem-solving skills • Exhibit discretion and handle sensitive information in a confidential manner • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact in a mature, professional manner • Extensive knowledge of Excel and QuickBooks and possess a willingness and aptitude to learn new accounting software systems • Detail-oriented team player with the ability to remain positive and work independently • Reliable transportation. This is not a remote position.
Additional Salary Information: salary is non-negotiable; position does not qualify for relocation reimbursement
