Your new company A boutique firm in the Melbourne CBD, my client provide accounting, tax and advisory services to SME's high net worth individuals.worldwide, providing sound advice and tailoring their technical expertise to their clients needs.
Your new role In this fast paced role, you will be responsible for managing the firms business services operations. Reporting to the Managing Director, your duties will include:
Overseeing a team of accountants
review financial statements and income tax returns
Manage workflow and adhearance to budget for all accounting staff
oversee procedures in relation to file preparation
Assist and train staff
Manage a portfolio of clients
review and advise on corporate structures
Provide strategic support to Managing director as required
What you'll need to succeed
7+ years of business services experience
CA/CPA qualification (non negotiable)
Experience in topics such as SMSF, Div 7A, FBT, GST, structure advice for complex entities, tax consolidation and small business tax concessions
Leadership/Management experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Xero/Xero Practice Manager, MYOB, Quickbooks, Reckon, BGL and CAS 360
