Based in downtown Indianapolis, RHB (https://www.rhb.com/) is a privately-owned, fiscally healthy marketing and design consultancy serving higher education clients. RHB’s leadership and several of its team members are located in central Indiana, although half of its professional staff work remotely across the U.S. As a result of its growth, RHB is creating a hands-on Accounting Manager position with broad involvement in accounting and financial management.
Primary responsibilities include:
Handling all business accounting activities, including: ongoing reporting & analysis; QuickBooks Online; invoicing & receivables; and tracking/reviewing commissions and travel expenses
Payroll, HR software and benefits administration
Helping interface and connect QuickBooks with other core applications
Coordinate/communicate with CPA firm, bank, benefits broker, and other service providers
Report to and work closely with RHB’s CEO, with support from a Financial Administrator
This is a full-time position; the individual could work remotely from outside of the Indianapolis area; however, the ideal candidate could meet to work in the office occasionally or on a hybrid office-and-remote basis
Ideal candidates will have:
A four-year Accounting degree
At least 3-5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a privately-owned company providing consulting/professional services
An affinity for innovation, technology, and process improvement
A balance of analytical/detailed skills coupled with an ability to think strategically and serve in an advisory capacity to actively-involved owners
Telecommuting is allowed.
