Group Audit North America is part of the globally, fully vertically integrated Group Audit function, which reports into the Group Audit Committee. Our ambition is to provide inspiring assurance in whatever form and whatever time our stakeholders need it for their timely decision making. Group Audit’s ambition is strongly grounded in four pillars: People and Growth, Business Insights, Enhance Assurance and Improve Efficiency.
As part of our high-performing team, you will be responsible performing audit testing, including data analytics. You may also have the opportunity to participate in global audits and Group Audit-wide initiatives and interact with leaders and team members from other countries.
Any of the following options is acceptable:
Bachelor’s degree and 2 or more years of experience in the audit or finance area
High school diploma or GED and 4 or more years of experience in the audit or finance area
Zurich-Certified Insurance Apprentice, including an Associate’s degree and 2 or more years of experience in the audit or finance area
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in insurance, risk management, economics, finance or related discipline
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Experience from a Fortune 500 Company, ideally in a financial services organization or Big 4
Understanding of insurance and its value to society
Demonstration of continual learning on and off the job
Inquisitive mindset with enthusiasm for learning something new every day
Ability to effectively work remotely (if applicable)
International work experience
Strongly written and verbal communications, including presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and establish and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Exposure to data analytics software such as R, Python or SQL a plus
