Hays are proud to partner with Ruddicks, a highly regarded Tasmanian owned Accounting firm who are renowned for their trusted advice, responsiveness and providing a supportive and engaging environment for their staff. Currently they are looking for a Practice Manager to join their team in a permanent part-time position which can be 3-4 days a week.
Your new role
This high-level Practice Manager role will see you operate at the heart of the firm, working alongside the Partners with a varied and challenging set of responsibilities. This multi-faceted position will include oversight of the firm's finance function, management of IT and external providers, human resources, marketing, operational management, compliance and administration. In addition to involvement with strategic projects which will continue the firm's growth, you will work to identify process improvements and innovations throughout the administration and operational side of the business. You will also take a lead in pro-actively monitoring legislative and technological developments in the Accounting industry, identifying potential impacts, risks and opportunities.
What you'll need to succeed
As a Senior role, this position could be an excellent fit for an Accountant or Practice Manager with experience working in an Accounting or similar professional services firm. You will have the confidence and ability to work closely with the Partners in a leadership role with the scope to drive projects, identify business improvements and innovations whilst driving a future vision for the firm. With great people and communication skills, you will be a problem solver who is self-motivated and able to quickly build strong relationships whilst developing the scope and impact of your role. Expertise with IT and innovation projects will be highly regarded.
