The role of Accountant is to assist in all aspects of the organizations accounting functions. The Accountant position is hands-on, working with the Controller to support the business. The role will be responsible for establishing, integrating, and performing several accounting practices for NCB Management, Inc.
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare and file monthly sales and use tax returns
Prepare draft journal entries and related support
Process general ledger entries, including prepaids, accruals, allocations, amortizations, etc.
Prepare formal, professional-level finance related correspondence
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year end reporting
Assess and make recommendations relative to the increased utilization and efficiencies of the accounting system
Assist with various projects assigned by the owner operator and controller
Assist with the development of key financial and operational reporting tools
Analyze total Corporate expenses, including comparisons to forecasted results and trended results
Enter accounts payable and data entry functions with day-to-day issues
Perform other duties as directed
