Reporting to the Finance Manager, the position holder is responsible for NorthStar pricing process, month end reporting, engagement with suppliers and associated processes.
Ownership of the NorthStar pricing process
Updating, maintenance and issuing of the monthly and quarterly NorthStar pricing files to various Stakeholders
Month end reporting
Managing the relationship between NorthStar and the McKesson Shared Service
Engaging and working with team across NorthStar and McKesson as required
Responsible for the first point of contact of Supplier queries /dispute resolution
Ensure compliance to supplier contractual arrangements
Process Improvement initiatives
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
This role is very much supplier facing with the successful candidate spending a large portion of their time engaging with suppliers around pricing, the collection of outstanding penalties or charges and ensuring the pricing of the SKU's is up to date and correct.
The Candidate will be part of a small Cork based finance team and as a result will need to be able to work on their own initiative.
Educations/Training: Fully qualified / Part Qualified Accountant with recognized accountancy qualification.
Minimum of 2+ years work experience in a Commercial Financial Analyst position or similar in a multinational environment.
Master knowledge of M.S. Excel and data modelling
Knowledge of SAP/ERP environment a plus
Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels both within and outside the organisation.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Self starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical & problem solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
Demonstrates understanding of customer needs/requirements, consistent with organisation priorities.
Excellent attention to detail and planning ability.
Proactive in carrying out responsibilities.
Understanding of customs and beliefs of other groups or cultures.
Proficient in MS Office; Word, Excel is essential.
