Manages the University's payment card operations and maintains knowledge in eCommerce systems, payment applications, related business processes, PCI (Payment Card Industry) standards, and other policies and requirements.
Creates/maintains PCI/eCommerce related policies and procedures.
Provides guidance, expertise, and training to campus merchants. Uses expertise to analyze departmental operational needs, complex payment processes, and software applications.
Finds/maintains compliant solutions and/or recommends system modifications as needed.
Responds to changing card processing needs and technologies.
Maintains positive working relationships with all key stakeholders.
Works in conjunction with ITS to oversee payment card system security.
Reviews and amends contracts related to card processing to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Leads PCIDSS annual validation process and ensures the SAQ (Self-assessment Questionnaire) is completed accurately and on time each year.
Guides the eCommerce Office.
Tracks and analyzes merchant sales and trends.
Serves as a backup to the eCommerce Administrator as needed, creating/editing online storefronts and implementing third party integrations.
Maintains process documentation and compliance timelines.
Minimum Experience / Education:
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
University Preferred Qualifications:
Graduation from a four-year college or university with a related degree to the area of assignment and four years of accounting, auditing, or systems experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (A Certified Public Accountant certificate may be substituted for two years of the required education or two years of the required experience.)
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Degree in accounting or information systems.
Five years of experience with PCIDSS compliance; within an institution of higher-education. (PCIP, QSA, ISA)
