Provides direction and support for the financial management of the Hospital.
Is responsible for maintaining financial records.
Develops and maintains a budgetary control program and cash forecasts, coordinating the accumulation, analysis, and interpretation of financial and statistical data; oversees reimbursement, financial planning, accounting, and payroll functions.
Performs all other management responsibilities as defined by the CFO, EHC.
A minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience in the financial management of a complex hospital environment.
Possesses strong management skills and the ability to oversee and manage a complex budget process necessary to achieve high financial expectations.
Possesses strong technical skills to deal with extremely complex billing environment including transplant, LTAC, Rehab, Psych, reference lab, infusion therapy and skilled nursing in an environment including reimbursement for DSH, IME/GME, UPL, ESRD, transplant, and infusion therapy.
A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with a CPA is preferred. Absent a CPA license a master’s degree in business, finance, accounting or a related area is also acceptable.
