O Advising key stakeholders through selection, transformation, implementation, and configuration of Workday. Our consultants are hands-on involved in full-scale implementation, project management, change management, requirements and design, process improvement, testing, integration enablement support, oversee supplier enablement, and best practices
O Contributing beyond client delivery , including, but not limited to recruiting, coaching, marketing, business development, practice development, operational improvement and beyond
O Implementing performance improvement and cost-reduction initiatives
Create, maintain, and direct project plan tasks for implementations of Workday HCM and/or Financials as a client-side advocate
Plan and lead advisory engagements that augment Workday deployment methodology
When necessary, assist in the sales process by scoping projects and estimating efforts required to complete advisory engagements
Establish and maintain strong client relationships, prioritizing client interests to ensure expectations are exceeded
Create and deliver project level documentation (i.e., status reports, RAID logs, project plans etc.)
Ensure projects are properly planned, staffed, delivered on-time and on-budget
Maintain responsibility for performance, cost, scope, schedule, quality, and appropriate business measurements
Track issues and risks, communicate status and escalate concerns
Work with client stakeholders and implementation teams to identify/resolve all issues that could impact project scope and/or time frames
Work with client stakeholders and Workday Delivery Assurance to ensure compliance with agreed upon checkpoints
Communicate effectively with clients to convey project updates and recommendations
Understand and apply Workday and CrossCountry Consulting methodologies
Actively foster internal relationships, share knowledge, and mentor other consultants to grow our practice
7+ years of professional services experience in a client facing role at a leading consulting firm, Big Four accounting firm, or commensurate experience
At least 2 years of recent Workday Certified experience in Workday EM/PM with a Workday deployment partner --OR-- 5+ end-to-end implementations as a Workday Project Manager
Experience defining system strategy, developing systems requirements, designing, prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, converting data, and implementing business process improvements
Strong attention to detail with the ability to think from a "big picture" perspective
Ability to build and develop strong client relationships and drive client conversations
Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster an environment of collaboration and excellence
Strong executive presence and C-suite advisory experience
Excellent communication skills, exhibiting professionalism and discretion in interacting with executives and clients
Creativity, confidence, flexibility, with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
High energy, enthusiasm, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a great sense of humor !
A Note on Travel: For the past year+ we have delivered projects remotely with much success, though we do plan to travel again in the near future. Our approach is different in that we are purposeful in scheduling on-site visits with clients around their unique needs rather than the standard Monday-Thursday travel schedule that you'll find at other large firms. We expect travel to be roughly 20-25% (could be more or less) but we'll continue to monitor this area and adapt as needed
