West Suburban CPA Firm – Director/Partner Opportunity
A small, well-established, CPA firm is seeking an experienced audit director who has the desire to be a partner. Our highly-successful firm has an immediate need for an audit director based on our firm’s revenue & client growth. SELLING OF ACCOUNTING OR AUDITING SERVICES IS NOT REQUIRED. Travel is not required and occasional telecommuting is allowed.
The candidate will manage an audit team of 10 plus auditors and own the entire audit process which includes review of workpapers. This position will report directly to the sole audit partner. The best candidate is a hands-on, experienced manager or director who has successfully managed budgets and trained auditors. The firm’s sole owner wishes to elevate this person to partner in the near-term.
The candidate MUST have the following minimum qualifications:
Licensed Certified Public Accountant in the United States
At least 8 years of work experience in public accounting from the audit department
Currently working as an audit manager or audit director in a public accounting firm
Currently managing at least 10 auditors
Must have a passion for auditing, managing an audit team, updating audit programs, and training and developing audit staff
