* Spend Optimization - analyzing the inputs and outputs of spend processes and provide tactical recommendations that improve operations and minimize costs.
Manage projects and cross-functional teams across Finance, IT, and Procurement
Support CrossCountry's leadership on internal projects, including but not limited to: sales/marketing initiatives, recruiting, training and organizational development
Deliver projects and manage teams performing current state documentation, gap analysis, requirements gathering, future state design, and implementation across the organizational, process, technology (financial systems) and data dimensions
Advise on key business processes (e.g. Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Financial Close, etc.)
Manage projects through creating, coordinating, and maintaining an integrated project plan as well as using project management tools
Serve as liaison between client, project team, development team, and other stakeholders
Identify and resolve issues, risks, and project team conflicts
Manage teams and individuals by tracking and directing performance against objectives, ensuring the project team delivers project requirements on time
5 - 8+ years of professional services experience in a client facing role at a leading consulting firm, Big Four accounting firm, or commensurate experience. This background is a critical differentiator among interested candidates.
A bachelor's degree (or higher) in accounting, finance, information systems, or a similar business or technical discipline
Experience in either finance transformation, system implementation, operations improvement, business process improvement, acquisition and divestiture implementation, change management, program management and/or risk
Business acumen with a strong understanding of accounting and business processes, as well as financial information systems
ERP system experience (solution architecting or operational accounting) in Workday, Oracle, SAP, Coupa, or Intacct
Consistent success in building and developing strong client relationships
Professionalism and discretion in interacting with executives and clients
Proven track record of showing initiative
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention detail and organizational skills
Creativity, confidence, and flexibility
