The Treasury Services Accountant 2 assists in the preparation of complete and accurate financial records and statistical reports through daily and assists with monthly bank reconciliation and cash management. The Treasury Services Accountant also enters and verifies timesheets, assists with bi-weekly payroll processing.
Primary Position Responsibilities
Reconciles daily banking activity for all forms of payments and disbursements.
Assists with reconciling bank accounts at end of each month.
Enters and audits daily timesheets for compliance with law and company policy.
Assists in the processing of biweekly payroll to include the preparation of general ledger entries for taxes, deductions and wages.
Assists in preparing payroll and treasury services correspondence to internal and external parties.
Assists other areas involved in problem solving cash issues related to member payments or cash reconciliation
Complies with established CoServ safety and operating rules, procedures and guidelines including reporting unsafe practices to a supervisor.
Complies with established CoServ Information Security Handbook, policies, procedures, and guidelines including reporting suspected information security incidents to Tech Support.
Secondary Position Responsibilities
Receives training as directed by the Cash Management/Payroll Manager.
Performs other duties and activities as directed.
Education and Certifications Required
High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalency.
Associates Degree in Accounting or a related field or equivalent accounting experience.

Skills and Abilities Required
Knowledge of PC Software and spreadsheet applications required.
Ability to use basic office equipment (10-key, computer, etc.) required.
Ability to communicate with other departments.
Must be timely, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to be trusted with confidential payroll information.

Operates office equipment such as a computer, telephone, fax machine, copier, etc.
